Shai Davidai became well known to all of us for valiantly standing up against Jew-hatred at Columbia University. All of us admired him for standing up for Jewish rights and we appreciate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet \u2013 Davidai supports a BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A clear review of Davidai op-ed (below) notes that \u201cOur support for a two-state solution has never wavered, and to this day we remain staunchly opposed to Israel\u2019s occupation of the West Bank, refrain from buying products manufactured beyond the 1967 armistice line\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One who supports a boycott of Israel is part of the problem as radical extremists. The problem \u2013 at Columbia and in the Middle East \u2013 is not the settlements, it\u2019s the very essence of the Jewish State. We demand that those who support a boycott of Israel have no place in the leadership of the Jewish community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davidai must be removed from the upcoming World Zionist Congress slate on which he appears as one cannot run for Zionist office and practice a boycott of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
